Daikin Multi+ with hot water
Up to 4 indoor units and a hot water tank with a single outdoor unit. Designed for homes up to 150 m² and households of up to 5 people.
More and more manufacturers combine a multi-split with a domestic hot water tank connected to the same outdoor unit. Here is how it works and who it suits.

A single outdoor unit feeds several indoor air-conditioning units (wall, cassette, ducted…) and also heats a hot water tank. All with heat pump technology.
In summer, the heat removed from the rooms while cooling is used to heat the water in the tank. According to manufacturers, hot water then comes with very little extra electricity use.
In winter, the heat pump can warm the rooms and the water. When demand is high, the system gets help from a backup electric heater, and depending on the model you can prioritise heating or hot water.
These are some systems from brands we work with. The data comes from the manufacturers and configurations may vary by model.

In many cases, yes. The system's tank produces the hot water, with electric backup when needed. We assess it during the visit based on how much hot water you use.
It depends on the tank: current systems offer tanks of between 100 and 230 litres. Daikin states that its Multi+ system is designed for households of up to five people.
Yes. The heat pump heats the tank and, when demand is high, the backup electric heater helps. In summer the heat removed while cooling is also put to use.
Depending on the system, between 2 and 4 indoor units with a single outdoor unit, plus the hot water tank.
It depends on the system, the number of indoor units and the tank. We give you a fixed price after the visit, with no obligation.
It is a recent trend: several brands introduced systems of this kind in 2026 and, at the EFINTEC fair in Barcelona, Daikin X Series won an award.
